ThE Family Experience
I. Book the date.
Upon receiving your initial inquiry, we will send you a questionnaire. This questionnaire will gather additional information about you and your family.
II. Planning.
Once the booking is complete, the fun begins! You can choose a lifestyle (an activity) or just a traditional session (more posed). The lifestyle sessions are a bit more candid. Often times we can do a combination as well. The lifestyle sessions are easier on kids (more playing and movement) and less stressful on parents! Scroll down for more info.
III. Week Prior.
About a week prior to your session, we'll discuss final details. This is to gather any information pertinent to the success of your session. Like, attire, poses, sports or anything that has changed since our last communication. This helps us to be prepared for your session.
IV. Session Day.
Our goal is to create a session that is stress-free, fun and memorable. We will keep things light, comfortable and go-with-the-flow. We'll pose you and tell you where to put your hands. Don't worry, if the kiddos aren't feeling too happy about their photo session, we've got a few tricks. If all else fails, which rarely does, even those unhappy faces make memorable photos. Don't stress, Mom! We've got this!
V. Gallery Delivery.
The most common flow for photo delivery is, 1-week sneak peek. 2-week photo selection, 3-week gallery delivery.

What Type Of Session Suits Your Family Best?
- Lifestyle Session
- Traditional Family Session
- Extended Family
Lifestyle Session
A lifestyle session is great for families that may have someone not terribly interested in "posing" for traditional photos (ehm...dads, or teens, or kiddos always on the move). The options are nearly endless in what we can photograph your family doing. Perhaps, we go to the waterpark, out on a sledding and hot cocoa adventure, a picnic and park play, ice cream parlor and walk on the greenbelt, local park for some family football, basketball or baseball, rafting the river or boating. We can get creative and most importantly, have some fun.
Traditional Session
Don't let a traditional session scare you! We stay away from heavy posing. We incorporate as much movement as possible. These sessions are a bit more structured, if you will. We get photos of the entire family. Some of each child, some with all of the kids and some of the couple/parents. These photos are typically done in a field or trail.
Extended Session
This session is for your family and some extension of your family. Maybe you want grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins in your family photos. We will photograph the group, each family separately, all the kids together, just kids per family, kids on their own, mom and dad, sisters/brothers only. Really, any combination is doable. The charges for this session can vary based on the number of people in attendance.
